DRUM VR sets cookies only if you accept analytics. It also saves your setup on your device, and you control both here.

Checking saved data…

These choices only affect the browser you are using right now. If you play on a headset, open this page in your headset’s browser to manage what is saved there.

Cookies

DRUM VR itself does not set cookies. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics sets the cookies below. Until you accept, the Google tag is told not to use cookies. If you decline or change your mind, we ask Google Analytics to stop and delete these cookies.

What DRUM VR saves on your device

DRUM VR uses your browser’s local storage, which works like a small notebook that only your browser can read. Nothing in it is sent to us or to Google.

NameWhat it holdsWhyHow long
drumvr.v2Your settings, kit layout, saved presets, and their namesTo remember your setup between visitsUntil you delete it
drumvr.nosaveA single marker that you chose not to saveTo respect your choiceUntil you turn saving back on
drumvr-rec (IndexedDB)Your recordings: the timing of your hits and the audio DRUM VR played while you recordedTo replay your takes and let you download themUntil you delete them (up to 20 takes)
drumvr.consentYour analytics choice: accepted or declinedTo remember your choice so we do not keep askingUntil you change it or clear your browser data

Why we ask about analytics

Analytics helps us see how DRUM VR is used so we can improve it. Because it uses cookies, we ask first. The banner offers Accept and Decline with equal weight. The Google tag starts with analytics storage denied and only receives permission if you accept, using Google’s Consent Mode. Advertising storage and personalization are always denied.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as declining analytics unless you turn analytics on above.

Hosting

Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs for security and operations. See the Privacy Policy.

Clearing it yourself

You can also delete everything by clearing site data for DrumVR.com in your browser’s settings.
